Camila Andrea Mena is a Research Analyst for the Bay Area Council Economic Institute. Collaborating with the Economic Institute’s team, she is involved in data collection and analysis to produce reports reflecting the current state of the Bay Area’s economy.
Originally from Colombia, Camila has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since she was 12. She graduated from UC Berkeley with a degree in Sociology with an emphasis on economic development. Before joining the Economic Institute, Camila worked at the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission’s Real Estate Division where she aided real estate analysts in the management of the City’s land. Camila likes to spend her free time volunteering for causes remedying poverty in the Bay Area, painting, and spending time with her family and friends.
